The mission of Friends of For-Mar is to raise funds to support the facilities and programs in the Nature Preserve and Arboretum that exceed the normal budget of the Genesee County Parks System and to sustain the vision of For-Mar as a peaceful place for environmental education.

Become a Friend of For-Mar
When you become an annual member, you’ll join a community of people who care about preserving For-Mar for generations to come and are giving back to a place they love. You’ll also receive special invitations to events and programs.
Give a Gift Membership
Know a person who enjoys For-Mar? Gift memberships are a great way to recognize a birthday, graduation, anniversary, or special holiday. They also help spread the word about For-Mar and how to support it. Please include the recipient’s contact info if you choose to give a gift membership.
Make a one-time gift
Don’t want to join as a Friend, or you’re already a member and want to make an additional gift? Thank you! You can donate via PayPal or by mailing a check (Friends of For-Mar Foundation, Inc; 2142 N. Genesee Rd; Burton, MI 48509-1209). Your donation will be used where it’s needed most to support For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum.
Honorary or Memorial Gifts
A contribution donated in someone else’s name is a wonderful way to celebrate a person you care about. Or if you’ve lost a loved one who treasured this place, make a memorial gift to Friends of For-Mar. We will be glad to notify the family of the gift as you request. Please provide the full name of the person you are donating in honor or memory of and the name and address for the person or family we should notify of your donation.
Estate Planning
Leaving a legacy gift to Friends of For-Mar in your trust or will, or in a beneficiary designation of a retirement or financial account, helps a place you have enjoyed and supported continue to serve others in the years ahead.
Matching Gifts
These are great way to double your gift to us! Determine if your employer will match your charitable gift to Friends of For-Mar.
Kroger Community Rewards
If you shop at Kroger, you can support Friends of For-Mar while grocery shopping! Simply designate Friends as your local charity and Kroger will donate a percentage of what you spend quarterly to us. You’ll need to set up a Kroger Awards Account at Kroger.com.
